That ride we did in your neck of the woods a few years back was great, hope we can do that again sometimeI prefer either riding alone or with a very small group of like minded riders, Getting from point A to point B as fast as possible really isn't my thing.
And I've found that in larger groups, i'm usually pissing somebody off because I've done something wrong, or haven't followed the group rules like I was supposed to. (Much like this forum)
A few years ago after a rather spirited ride with a group of riders, I arrived late as usual to one of the checkpoints, I was in the bathroom at the urinals taking a leak next to one of the other riders, I said dude did you see that lake back there? it was beautiful!
He looked over at me and said, there was a lake?

I am up in the Antelope Valley, but do not mind travel to a starting point. A couple months ago, I rode a SCMA ride down there
