Truly what IDK said, we aren't that snobbish. Also I ride a T-120 (mostly cuz my Rocket won't start) and just bought a 98 Trophy 1200 (that won't start) so don't feel like you don't belong.

On a side note I've been to Harlingen, (kids were in Mission at the time) you can see Mexico from there.....

Yes. We get yeR round riding here, but pay for it with uncomfortably hot and humid days in the summer.

@GPMAZ ok, two consecutive unrelated books I read mentioned Harlingen. here's #3. Been a month, still haven't encountered jalopy.

"Uncomfortably" is a relative term. It's 'uncomfortable' riding in a blast furnace. It's also 'uncomfortable' needing to chew every breath before swallowing. 'Hot and humid' doesn't adequately describe the conditions, like 'mildly unpleasant' doesn't describe a train wreck.

Summer nights are good. In the 80s. You could ride naked in the rain and you wouldnt feel a chill.

I guess i took the power for granted but the bonneville is so easy to move around with your legs.
