08 r3 touring
With regrets, i sold my r3t and got a 2013 t100. In 12 mo time, i started with a tbird, found it lacking and i preferred a non cruiser. But i always wanted a r3. The touring was available and i thought "this is my chance." It had a problem of missing, but thanks to this forum, i replaced the tps and fixed that. Did some tuning with tuneecu, and it ran great, just poor mpg. I would a liked to have both but it was either or. I pondered going on trips but 95 % of my riding is local. So i got this bonne with 7000 mi on it for 5000.
I feels like ive given up some super powers, but hopefully there will be another in my future. I really didnt want a touring as much as a standard version anyway. This forum has been a great help. Adios for now gentlemen (and ladies).

Truly what IDK said, we aren't that snobbish. Also I ride a T-120 (mostly cuz my Rocket won't start) and just bought a 98 Trophy 1200 (that won't start) so don't feel like you don't belong.

On a side note I've been to Harlingen, (kids were in Mission at the time) you can see Mexico from there.....

Just got back from missouri (by car). It reminds me how bad this area here by the border. Its so pastoral in mo. And everyone was so friendly up north.
Anyway, evil forces are keeping me from riding. The t100 had original tires so i ordered. Then went on my trip. I took today off to get my tires and wheels back. Well there has been flooding here and the m/c shop is unreachable due to high water. Denied!

If it helps, my first bike after my Rocket was a Scrambler. What it lacked in power it more than made up for in personality. It doesn’t always have to be the biggest or fastest to be the funnest. Your Bonne has an unusual colour scheme (very desirable) and looks great. I currently have a number of bikes but the one I like the best is my Bonneville T120 (1200). it’s got it all! Enjoy your next phase.
