Well not actually going on mine.......... one I passed up on the night, an early 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub gear Bickerton.
But I hadn't seen extendable Ape hangers before and if a strong design it could work for Motorcycles too......so you could hang around like an Orangutan occasionally!

Yeah and a few dozen spokes!
if it gets any more frightened it will curl its rear mudguard up and never roll again!
The Bickerton above and another British early Moulton with same Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub below sold to the same enthusiast who bid against me, both about US$100 each.
