Yes I did ! I have been up twice now in the last few months , just to make sure I didn't miss anything . The Mary Rose exhibition is amazing , but for some reason the Victory draws me and I feel pretty emotional when aboard , maybe I have a connection to it in some way ? It is highly possible !
Claustrophobia? iirc there is very little head room below deck. Went with my dad many years ago - He could just about stand upright. The places that draw me a bit are more ancient. Stonehenge is just a joy - even from a distance.

Yea definitely , headroom of 5 feet 6 inches .
I'm 6 .2 so came out with severe backache !
The tallest member of the gun crew during the battle of Trafalgar was 6.6 , a giant for his day , must of had a real lumpy head !
As for ancient history ? Dartmoor is awash with that , with many prehistoric settlements . As has Dorset !
I believe I must be related to the Cerne Giant ? Picture won't post lol !
Apologies for the indiscreet picture - I'm a wee bit drunk.
Nat (and Mrs Nat) we have to arrange a meet in Sept. I need to introduce you to Patxaran. Sloe Gin Turbo.
I spoke to the guy at my local Triumph dealer and he told me that he remembers my bike. He says it was one of the first produced and Triumph retro fitted the tribal kit to demo the bike at the shows.
When i took the pillion seat off it did have a sticker with "demo bike" under it. Nice bit of history.
