E-marked to start with. Real not fake E-mark. Real HD Daymakers or big dollar variants by their USA manufacturer JW Speaker in the earlier fixed then Adaptive cornering variant Mk1 that works in Low beam only and then the later Adaptive cornering version MkII which works in High and Low beam.

@barbagris was the Euro lighting expert but he has just announced he has departed the forum. Search the forum for his posts with 'E-marked LED' etc.

Like your knockoff lights that failed there are knock offs of the 1st Adaptive cornering version from China AliExpress for less than US$100 each and I bought a pair about 2 years ago but never fitted them.

Denali will also sell E-Marked legal LEDs but big dollar as well. Some other Euro forum people may be able to find you legal E-marked ones but it dpends on your MOT inspectors too I suppose.

A simple fix is to swap the old ones in once a year takes an extra 30 mins or so.

Same as Michael_G , Did they say it was because of the E mark ?

Just curious what the difference is that make them not pass?

Even tho they r very bright they dont produce a proper beam . So when they r tested on the light machine ther is dark areas which is not allowed in a uk mot

mine look the same ,,
passed 2 yrs with out any issues..
maybe change mot tester,,, try using a custom shop.
