TX - Eureka Springs Trip

You can move your license plate up so that it mounts with just the bottom holes of the plate in the top holes of the bracket. That put's it up close to where the RIVCO license plate bracket puts it. The bottom holes on the bracket will now be sticking out from the bottom of your license plate. These can be trimmed off. Something I was going to do before I got my RIVCO bracket. It will move your license plate up, but won't help with the turn signals sticking out.

Only 10 more shopping days till E.S. I've been looking at the license plate bracket from Rivco...sure would like to have one, but that seems like alot of cash to move the plate up 3". What I need is a Flip miester bracket that would do the same thing but maybe a little more economically.

Haven't finalized anything yet, but my guess would be about 10ish in Hico @ Ranglers hwy 281& 6. We were talking about doing some local FM's and then heading to Waco to eat at the Helath Camp. It's a hamburger dive on the historic traffic circle, it's been there since the late 40's. Dave, y'all are invited also.

I got to thinking about it and especially when you are talking touring and probably won't come. Bear would have to drive his car and it is already driving him crazy not being able to ride his bike for the E.S. trip. He has always been one to ride for trips and not "trailer" so this trip is going to be a big adjustment as it is. Don't think I will ask him about this this time. And since Dave can't go either, have fun for all of us.

the ignition switch took a dump last night! got one coming from gulf coast this friday though. guess i'll go ahead and side panel the darn thing and be done with it.
