This one goes out mainly to Richard Albans as Im sure in his quest to supercharge the latest gen rockets he has given consideration to this question.... Would a small turbocharger and its associated plumbing fit in the area currently occupied by the Rockets cat box? My guess (without measuring) is that a suitably sized plenum could be fabricated to go where the current intake resides, and that the current factory header pipes could be utilized with a flange welded onto the section where the 3 pipes merge into 1. My thought would be something blow through, running small boost numbers, not to exceed 10psi, so as to avoid the need for intercooling and forged pistons. Ive gotta thing that such a combination tuned correctly would be capable of at least a safe 265 rear wheel hp!!! The only fit problem I can imagine would be room to hang an air filter onto the turbo intake

i am heavily interested in turbocharging this bike.

Turbo or Supercharge anything over 200hp change the pistons. They are eggshells. It even worries me just derestricting and running 180's. I will only recommend my supercharger kits now with pistons as a minimum, cams help release power big time as well.

And what about the space where the catbox lives Richard??? Is there enough room for a small frame turbo capable of moving enough air for a 2.5L engine?
