Wow. That would mean ~194HP at the crank. If tis is true, it is a no-brainer.

Does anyone know if you can go back to the original tune once you have uploaded the new map? As far as I understand it, you can only *write* maps with TuneECU, not ready them from the ECU.

Yes, you can reload the stock map.

The stock maps for the new R3 are on the TuneECU.net site, which you can access from Google Chrome on your Android tablet. The maps are in .zip files. (You can also get the maps in .hex format from the TuneECU.boards.net site). Downloads go into your downloads folder. Use Files by Google to unzip them. You need a file manager app to create new folders, like as sub folders under the TuneECU folder where the program is located, and copy the hex file map to the folder you’ve created. I use the Total Commander app to copy and move files, which you can get from the Google Play Store.

You are a great source of information for all things TuneECU related, thank you!

I am having an issue with the tuneecu, maybe someone else had similar. I bought the Galaxy Tab A, and the LX bluetooth as suggested, installed the paid app. Software connects to ECU

I get this warning and click OK, then I get this:

Did you read the manual? Under connect to ecu, you have to choose your bike (or Keihin ECU) and the Bluetooth module. Before connecting, you have to read a map in to the map screen. You shouldn’t have to recover unless you started a download.
