Tuning a completely stock Roadster...

Barbagris, I don't like ( or recommend) the stock springs above 7k. When I did the test it revved more in 4th gear. backed it down later. I had to use an older version of software, which seems to let the bike rev maybe 300rpm MORE than the limit placed in the box. As one can see there is no point revving past 6750 anyway as it is losing power. It didn't effect the dyno result. And there is no secret, I just do what I do to every bike, TUNE it. Read the line below engine speed(RPMx1000) on the dyno chart Cheers .

I know nev - just wondered if there were any baseline things to start with. Test, tweak, test, tweak...........
 
He must have a weener dyno. How will you learn to use the dyno before your bike is worn out .

It is - It's really only for "classic bikes" He runs a classic bike restoration business. Not a braked Dyno either. I think it's certified to 120bhp-ish. And only 350kgs.
