Tune for R3T + Jardines
I am looking for a TuneECU map for R3T with Jardines underseat filter (K&N) Can't locate one on the site.
Any help would be appreciated
Hopefully I can help:
Had my Rocket 3 Touring on the Dyno with Tuneboy.
Two weeks ago I placed the Jardines which I found to loud ( as wel as Mrs Rocket...)
At the tuners place they produced a pair of DB Killers which work well and only took away 4 Bhp of the runs without the killers.
The machine was running far to lean so I was happy that I went over to get it tuned because it could have caused severe damage when driving long time at high speed.
Finally they stopped at a performance off:
152.5 BHP at 5461 RPM
225.8 Nm at 2819 RPM
225 km/ 140 Miles per hour (limited with tuneboy)
Jardines
Triple KN filters
Secondairies removed
Gipro installed
It runs very nice and gets off like a Starfighter.
I placed some films on you tube so you can see the results of the tuning and the sound of the Jardines with the Killers.

Tovami has no problem making a few sets of the Killers again ( they measured the size) off the Killers for those who think the Jardines sound to loud on a Touring) for those who are interested. (
Tovami: testbanken voor motoren, auto's en karts )
If you need help just let me know. They will charge $ 60,- a set without transport.
I used Tune ECU to read the tune and saved it ( hex file ) so you can use Tune ECU to get it in the Bike. I also sent it to Alain the producer of TuneEcu.
I will also put ( try) to get the original tuneboy tune attached.
Good Luck.
With TuneEcu you can compare the tune you have in and this one to see the difference. I also send the tune to Alain the producer of TuneEcu, maybe he will put on his site.
The hex file is for TuneEcu, the Dat file for Tuneboy ( but off course you Guys allready knew that)
Good Luck with it and hopefully I saved you a few Bucks.
The Tuning costed € 395.- is $295.
