TuneECU .... free tuning software

complement of informations

Sorry, I must correct myself.

Alain has found a mistake in my posting.

The correct allocation of the tables is as follows:

version 1.8.5 -> version1.9.5

Rocket III & Classic

I1 -> I(N)
I2 -> I1
I3 -> I2
I4 -> I3

Rocket III Roadster & Touring

I1 -> I1
I2 -> I2
I3 -> I3
I4 -> I(N)

BR, Tom

Tuneboy is even more confusing. For the touring, it reads out I1, I2, Ign(TP) and Ign(Map). Ign(Map) is the table for neutral. The Tuneboy web site doesn't have downloadable tunes for the Roadster.

so it is:

Rocket III Roadster & Touring

I1 -> I1 1st gear
I2 -> I2 2nd gear
I3 -> I3 3rd-5th gear
I4 -> I(N) Neutral

In the Map-Edit help file on the website it says:

"Caution: Do not disable the secondary butterflies (KTM) only if the butterflies or the secondary system (motor PAP and second GST (TPS) ) are removed."

This statement is confusing to me, as it appears to say "dont disable the secondaries unless the secondaries are removed". Is it a translation issue, because everything I have read says TuneEcu can disable the secondaries without them being removed.

It's not an issue for the Rocket. Just set the values in the secondary table to 100.

Hi,

This notice applies only KTM models.
