TuneECU .... free tuning software

230 torque? What is that, foot lbs, neuton meters or what? It sounds very high without internal engine work, cams, blower etc. to be ftlbs. You must be using some different kind of measurements over there since our horsepower is a factor of torque and rpm.

HellFire,

These are the original specifications from Triumph's website:

Performance (measured at crankshaft to 95/1/EC)
Maximum Power EC
106PS / 105bhp / 78kW @ 6000 rpm
Maximun Torque EC
203Nm / 150 ft.lbs @ 2500 rpm

Before the Dynorun with Jardines, Gipro, triple Filters and sec.removed at had 208 Nm and 121 bhp.

After the Dynorun today and adjustments in the tune it has now over 150 bhp and 230 Nm. The speed is limited at 225 km.
Sorry for the confusion.

AHAA , that makes sense to me now ... thanks for clarifying.
Nice results, you should really be enjoying the extra umph in 1st through 3rd gear as well. Since that's where we spend most of out time riding about town and launching away from stops, I'll bet you can't stop grinning. LOL
If just tweeking the fuel trim made that much difference, she must have been running lean, **** good thing you took her to a shop with a CO2 sniffer. This is exactly what the guys are talking about when we say it should go on a dyno and be adjusted to the right mixture. Imagine what could have happened if it was run 5,000 miles/km lean ... could have been ugly.
Making a Touring model perform like a Standard has to be a good time, just keep an eye on that rear tire, they can shred to pieces without much thought. They weren't meant to wrinkle the sidewall like dragster tires. HEHEE

For those that have debated about purchasing TuneBoy, your day has come.

There is freeware available that is a close copy to TuneBoy, and operates on all Triumph triples.

Fyi: TALK ABOUT A SLOW BOAT FROM CHINA;

The cable from easy-motorcycle.com may take a while to get to you.
I ordered the cable on 2/1/11 and got it today (2/28/11). "It actually shipped from China".
In the meanwhile I bought and installed a set of Jardines with a Power Commander III.
The cable is of high quality, blue OBD connector with a 5' silver wire mesh cable- to USB, haven't used it yet, but may do a diagnostic on my wifes vw beetle, or possiby the Rocket.:)
