TuneBoy will blow your socks off

Since the ECM knows all and see's all, at what point in the future will they be in the court room as a witness in an accident? All this sure got me thinking ....
That technology is already in a lot of cars, speed, when brakes applied etc. Big Brother is sure read for us!

Does anyone know if the 2nd two tunes are automatically set for 'economy' and 'wet', as compared to the first?
I had mine setup by the dealer, who was a little new to TuneBoy. Not sure if they even knew of the other two tunes, so mine would only be set this way if the software does this automatically.

Tuneboy tunes

I also received similar information from Tuneboy support. However, that is all I received.

I have been asking Wayne for support for over a year now. His wife responds to my e-mails telling me that she has talked to him and he will get around to it. That was over 6 months ago. I have e-mailed them several times since then. Same answer each time.

It seems that once he gets your money that's it.

TuneEcu seems to be the way to go. I wouldn't bother waiting for Wayne to respond. Most of us might not live that long.

Now that the TuneBoy tune is loaded, TuneECU says it doesn't recognize the map on the bike.
Is it ok for others??

A couple questions...

I have the new "Tuneboy" program (I think) that has a red screen and compatible with the Roadster. I have already downloaded numerous tunes and it works great. I was wondering about the three tunes that can be stored in the ECU. I'm not sure what tabs are for the different tunes. Across the top of my Tune Edit screen is the following;

F1, F2, F3, Fuel % Trim, L1, L2, L3, I1, I2, I3, I4, I1_1, I1_2, I1_3, I1_4, Ignition Trim, Sec, AF, F_L Switch, Idle Speed.

I always thought F1,2,3 and L1,2,3 were for the different cylinders. Are these the tables for separate tunes, changeable with the clutch? Also, what are the "I1_1,_2,_3,_4" tables for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Red your running V4 it is not a multi trim tune as youy would see three different fuel trim tabs plus need the tune boy multi trim software. I is not three different maps per say it is three different trim tables you can quickly change between. On the far right at the top there would be trim tabs 1 , 2, and 3

Thanks Warp. Now were do I get the software? BTW, if your ever in Mich with that supercharged Rocket, I'd love to see it.

good question I have been waiting for tune boy to send it to me for well lets say about a year. Not sure if Wayne is pissed at me or mistakes me for a tune ecu guy which I do not use. To be honest with you I do not see the need for multiple maps even with the multiple timing trims tabs. I do fine with the V3.9.9.9 and a 9000 rpm map. I suppose If I wanted a special map for race gas it would be nice but since I run pump gas I tune for that. Maybe I would change my mind if I had it to try out for a while. But I will have to wait for Wayne to come thru.
I believe the V5 will run the multi map program . If your interested I would shoot Wayne or Emma an e-mail maybe you will have better luck then I.

I E-mailed them when I first seen this thread, about a year ago. No luck. I would like the different maps for when I let my brother ride the bike. I don't really trust him with full power :). I bought the tuneboy not knowing that version was incompatible with the Roadster. If it was not for these forums I would have never received the .dll files and tunes I needed. Hopefully someone has this software and is willing to share. I am very disappointed with the customer service at tuneboy.

I've loaded v5.0.0.1 but can't get it to connect to the bike. I'm still using v.3.9.9.9.

I don't see anything different in v5 TuneEdit. Everything looks the same. There's one fuel trim table. Supposedly it will upload a tune from the ECU.
