Tune ECU wont connect

I have an OBDLink Lx which connects through the obdlink app but I cannot get the Rune ecu to connect at all.

Are you using it with an Android device? Also something that can be an issue is make sure the time on the bike and the Android device are the same.

The Bluetooth one won't work on old rockets.
You need the cable and the type a to c adapter. I had the same issue.
Once you get the right cable it's supper easy

Yes it's an android. Time would make that much of an issue? The bike/OBDlink doesn't show up in the device list at all...my truck stereo, my ruroc helmet and my FP3 on the harley show up...just nothing for the R3.

Plug the OBD link into something else as well and check again. You might need to reinstall TuneECU. Is this the first time you've tried to use it? You can also try the FB forum as well.

As for the time, always make sure they are the same.

I'll have to check the time and see if that works. The OBDLink works with the OBDLink app....It seems like an issue with tune ecu

I would tend to agree with you but if the time is off, it will sure bite you at some time regardless.

I am not good with this stuff.
I used mine a couple of times along time ago and i.remember that i would have to turn blue tooth off then back on to get it to work.

Just make sure you have a charger of at least 2.5 amps or more on her when you do this.
