good morning R3 owners,

i have a 2015 roadster X i am changing the exhaust and the intake soon ish,
i am going for a custom exhaust standard headers into a 90 degree bend and short can under the swing arm,
intake 3 mini K and N filters not the large standard 1s where you have to alter the bearclaw.

my question is being a full on tune ECU noob i have the app on my phone and tablet but not yet registered or ordered the cable,
can i remap my bike just sat in the garage or would it be best me going to a specialist and getting a full custom map local to me ?

i believe it already has been tuned before me for the dave platt outlaws exhaust.

any info would be much appreciated !
im handy on tools etc do all my own work but the rocket roadster would be my 1st bike im getting involved in the electronic side and ECU's

I've never done anything in this area of tuning.....well, not yet, but I came across this video recently and it was pretty helpful in explaining the tech.

thank you ! i will give that a watch later on when home from work, much appreciated !

I had mine on a dyno rolling road, found I had 136bhp and 130lbt with a broken HT lead. a lot of guys on here have used tuneecu or tuneboy without any issues, for me the biggest thing is how do you really know BHP/LBsT unless its on a dyno?
