Tune ECU. Laptop or Ap

I have two friends on here that use Tune ECU. One uses the computer, the other the ap from the Playstore. I tried to dowload the computer version but couldn't figure out how to unzip the file. Are there pros and cons either way? I like the idea of having my tuner in my pocket.

I use the app only and it works just fine. I think the only advantage of using a PC is that the PC version of TuneECU is free. Many people seem to have driver headaches when trying to get TuneECU to work on the PC.

I bought my cable from Lonelec and let Windows 7 find and install the drivers automatically. Everything went super smooth with zero issues. I then downloaded Tune ecu and copied everything to a folder I created on C: drive. I named the folder "Tune Ecu". I save my tunes in a folder I created on C: drive I named "Tunes". All is well.

I wouldn't mind buying an Android device just so I could datalog a couple rides to tweak the tunes. I need to get a new bung installed in my exhaust for a wideband.

WideBand - read here Oxygen sensor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - the bung is a threaded adapter to allow insertion of said sensor.

The stock O2 sensor is a fairly inaccurate narrow band sensor. Adding an additional bung or threaded port so I can screw in a wide band sensor will allow me to read accurate air fuel ratios. This will net the best possible tune. I would only have it installed during the tuning process or during datalog runs.

You only need to install a wide band sensor for an autotune fueling module, where the fueling is based on the air to fuel ratios (A/F) measured by the sensor. If you go to a dyno tuner, he will measure the A/F using his own sensor and adjust the fuel accordingly.
