TTS new big headers?

I fitted one yesterday with a single silencer setup. First impressions are more power above 4000rpm but its running quite lean at the moment especially at the low rpm end of things so I am going to richen it up a bit and see what it feels like after.
 
Yup I have had some time to have a play with the fueling and it seems to be making a bit more power through the whole rev range, especially at the top end of the scale where the power used to fade out before. Now it pulls hard to the rev limiter and happily surges past 140mph whereas on the original header with tors and decat it would have been struggling a bit at those speeds. Front wheel will come up a few inches somewhere between 3.5 and 4k on hard acceleration in first gear. Before it would get light, but not quite clear the ground. I must point out however that my fuelling tweaks are quite rough and all I was really concerned about was taking out any lean surging characteristics at lower rpm and small throttle positions and making sure it is rich enough everywhere else that no overheating or engine damage can occur. Im sure there would be a fair bit more power to be found from getting it mapped properly on a dyno or using a power commander unit with autotune.

Despite adding a few percent of extra fuel here and there fuel economy on mixed riding has actually improved to 32mpg from around 29mpg before so this tells me things are operating more efficiently and im able to use slightly less throttle to maintain the same performance level as before.

The headers are really nicely made with lovely welds and the fit is excellent. Mine came with a screw in bung for each header pipe to allow for people running an o2 sensor per cylinder etc. I had to drill part way into and tap the head of each of the supplied bungs to allow the original heatshields to have something to bolt into. Once thats done they fit straight on. However the TTS header pipes are chunkier than the originals where they mate up to the ports in the head and the aftermarket chrome covers that people fit to cover this top area completely will need to be left off or moified to fit.
 
I have spoken to TTS and they said that the decat pipe they can supply is intended for the 2 pipe TORS silencers and they do not yet have one for the triple silencers as fitted to the earlier bikes.
