came back from the triumph dealer regarding the 2006 recall service bulletin concerning the engine shutting down at idle

the technician loaded another tune but did not provide me with any explanation and the repair order does not show either.
all I know is now I have tune #020219 loaded anyone know anything about this tune .incidentally the popping is still very much there during deceleration.

20219 Aftermarket exhaust and catalytic converter removed

It is a tune for the Classic. The speed limiter is lower and the secondaries are partially closed through all gears.

allright then is this tune presumably takes care of the idle problem for which the recall was published . and now since I am a total zero on the comprehension level of this table please tell the unwashed what those grid numbers means and does this tune screws up (I mean defeat) my GIPRO/ATRE ........it is getting really confusing here...
I just want the thing to breathe fully with the right amount of fuel and no artificial electronic choking of any kind , am I the only one in this predicament or are we a bunch out there with conflicting info and not knowing what to do really!!

The numbers are the percent the secondaries are open in each gear as a function of RPM. The secondaries will still be closed in 5th with your GiPro, unless you take them out.

Just remove them, theyre like an appendix (not the book kind, I'm not spelling well today) ..., nearly useless.
Sure you can program them to stay open with a tuneboy, but two little screws each and they are gone for good. With them out you can adjust fuel mix with PCIII or whatever gadget you wanna use.

very well, after much deliberation..and suds .. thats what I will do unscrew those secondaries and buy a cheap dobeck thing to add fuel where needed. and that will be the end .
thanks to all the informed few .

Don't forget about the GiPro to get the timing advanced in low gears and for the postion display. You mentioned one before, did you already get one?
The combination of removed secondaries and the GiPro really makes the bike fun in 1st gear.
