Triumph Dragon Raid June 22-28 2009

Allow me to introduce myself,
My name is Rick Sine. I am the RAT Pack leader for Joe's Cycle Shop. IronMike started this thread(Thank You Mike!!) and I just found it. We are getting a good turnout based on the replies that I have received from varies forums. I know that folks from Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, etc... Will be there. And I would love to see more mighty Rockets there! One of the most enjoyable rides I've ever been on was down on 28 chasing a Rocket being riden by an ex racer. It was AWESOME!!
Anyway, Iron Horse is the best place I have found to stay in that area. They cater to motorcycles. Very clean well taken care of place. You can stay there on the cheap or in luxury. I have the whole place blocked out until the end of January for us Triumph guys to make reservations for June 22-28th. You don't have to stay the whole time, but if you don't you will regret it later...:)
So please, come on down, up or over, which ever way you need to go... and meet up with a bunch of Triumph nuts. If you have any questions, click on my signature pic and that will take you to a thread on this event. Or if you wish to speak to me directly, my number is 937-360-1730
Thank You,
Rick Sine

I created a down-loadable flyer for this event. It is on the BritRider thread(click on my signature pic). Please use it to help spread the word.
Thank You,
Rick

Anyone know if the cops have gotten any better. Last time I was there it was rediculous with the amount of police on the Dragon. If you guys do go, you might want to stop by the general store at the start of it and see what the word is with the other bikers. The cops there have really gotten tired of all the wrecks, fast riding, passing on double lines, etc. I have heard of people getting tickets for riding 5 over the limit. This was last year though, not saying it is going on this year, just curious.
If I was not going to be in Wyoming at this time I would definetly be there. Have fun!!

I have found that Tuesday through Thursday, the Dragon is quite dead. That is why this event is a Monday through Sunday. You can have all the fun you want during the week on the Dragon, then Friday and Saturday you ride roads like Cherohala.

Hello All,
I wanted to give you an update to the happenings for the Dragon Raid. Of course everyday we will get up, eat breakfast and head out for various rides on the best roads.
