Awesome. I'll look into this. I've been needing an excuse for a cruise down 101 anyway. :D

If tis a nice day when you go, let me know.
If not work busy, I'll try and ride with.
Bear in mind these jackets are the best quality and hand made for you.
They are NOT cheap and shall last a life-time!

Just remember, this is 1oldbull's lifelong couturier. It starts out innocuous enough:

On the whole - I find Triumph leather inferior to most serious brands - i.e. Vanson.
Most I've seen, seem not to have decent spine protection.

I have some Triumph leather gloves and they're way inferior to the Halvarssons I use (now!).

I have no problems whatsoever riding the R3 in an armoured Vanson Jacket emblazoned with Buell logos.

I own four Triumph jackets. A Thunderbird, an Ace Café, an Air Retro, and a Falcon jacket. I am 6', 215 lbs. and all jackets are XL. They seem to fit nice and snug except the Thunderbird which is loose. It it came in two different XL sizes and I got the larger size. All excellent quality and fit. My favorite leather jacket is the Ace Café because of the quilted shoulders and elbow pads. If you get leather, make sure it has zippered air vents in the front and back for that sunny day in stop and go traffic!

I love the look of Triumph's custom leather jacket. It's expensive but I don't mind as long as it's a quality jacket. Does anyone here have experience with this one in particular? I'd like to know your thoughts.

The guy I bought my bike off last year was about 230 lbs and over six feet. He bought a jacket from Triumph in the UK and had it shipped, it was the wrong one so he got another shipped for the cost of shipping. Anyways, its a nice jacket but way too big for my 5'10" 180 lbs. Make me an offer on it if you're interested, supposedly it cost $500. Has a couple of scuffs but nothing ugly. The tag size is xxxl/xxxg.

I appreciate it but I ended up going with the Triumph Desert Racer. RevZilla has them on clearance for $140 and the 2XL fits like a glove.
