Triumph Bobber Has Arrived

IT looks like some of the old bikes from the 50s and 60s and I had a 1949 Triumph that it looks like and I like the look

BUT - I bet it sells. And that's what Triumph do - SELL BIKES.
If 90% of their public wants it - then that's what they'll make.

I'd have it for round town jaunts, I imagine it's more better in turns than my Rocket, which does pretty good but is a little heavy for stop and go. I do make Hot Dog and the odd Ice Cream run, and a bobber makes sense to me for stuff like that.

YEP HOT DOGS and ICE CREAM makes sense to me

Brother, I cannot see one bit of 'Hipster' in that bike. And cannot see one bit of useless engineering either. It is different which is Triumph's bit of marketing and I approve. Granted I have only been riding for 36 years now and only on 28 different bikes so my view is limited somewhat. But to be fair, looked up 'hipster motorcycle' to better understand your comment. Primarily it showed café racers, standard Bonnies, scooters, mopeds and bicycles with added motors. Very few bobbers on the list but I did see a few. So, I guess I need to change my opinion of what hipster means; I thought it was only scooters and Harley Streets 500 and 750s. But according to Google, your Bonnie is smack dab in the middle of what Hipster is...

Hipster cult is merciless, so bobbers are also infected! Especially old Triumphs and Sportsters.. done

Technically the bike is nicely executed, but it has no soul. In its core, this is all anti-bobber. Clean, perfect, emission friendly. IT EVEN LOOKS TO BE COMFORTABLE! I would not be surprised, if the seat had special coating against indigo stains..

Consider you meet a gang of C+ coders on their weekend trip, all of them riding these Bobbers, wearing their tight jeans and flannels and wearing the silly bubble Bell helmets (carbon version, of course).. What´s next? Electric bikes with selectable sound output? I opt for F4U Corsair then..

Bobber with all the electronics, torque control, riding modes..? Be serious. Not for me. (But I am not the target group either - I remember before wi-fi, people talking to each other when in restaurant)

Very well put. In this day and age we have everything for every taste to feed our urge for five minutes. Go and buy anything and everything you need and don't be hassled to create anything.

At some point did Triumph start hiring former executive officers from Hardley-Dangerous?

The Bobber video Triumph created looks like they have to.. I am not a HD fanboy, but to be fair - HD branding is rock solid. And it works.

"They are great fashion company that also sells motorcycles."
