Triumph Bobber Has Arrived

The guy that does marketing is the same guy that maintains the website and the official accessories catalog. He is a drunk and he only shows up for half a day on Wednesdays. He's really a great guy at heart, he just doesn't do much.

John Boener works for Triumph? :banghead:

This bike is the epitome of the hipster movement. All the fake parts in the world that save no purpose other than to make it look like something it's not. I am glad my Bonnie is an '06 because in my humble opinion, Triumph has totally lost it with the Bonnie since '08. This bobber abomination is the ultimate pretend bike.

I'll agree that it isn't suitable for several riding scenarios, especially in the area I live in, but who said motorcycles were supposed to be a sensible endeavor

My reference has nothing to do with sensibility. Some authenticity would be nice though rather trying to recreate something to pose it as something it is not. But if today's bobber is a bike with suspension, fake pancake air filters, fake carbs, fake timing inspection cover and a whopping movie screen radiator up front to keep the liquid cooled motor of yesteryear running then Triumph nailed it!
