Triumph # 1 in North America.

It would be nice to see more Triumph dealers spring up.. It's pretty rare to see a Triumph in my neck of the woods. They all think my Rocket is a Harley till they see Triumph scrolled across the tank. Then the next words out of their mouth are....."i didn't think they made them anymore"....

It would be nice to see more dealers. But if they have techs in the shop that do work like this there first place position might not last. Check out the screw that's holding in the TPS. Ya I would let a customers bike go looking like that. Al

I got that just the other day.
From a guy that's been riding for years and goes to bike nights and other "biker" events.

Yep, I'd be fine with fewer dealers as long as their shops starting having a shred of competency!
I love seeing other triumphs on the road, but cringe when someone asks me about dealers and servicing :(

That is appalling I would go back and make them change it and stand there watching them correctly set your TPS and if don't want you to come into workshop tell them to do it in the door way so you can watch.
To many workshops use the excuse of lack of insurance coverage to keep people from making sure they do their job right I know don't take the bull rap and just tell them "I will be and am capable of keep myself safe if the tech are doing their job properly their should never be a safety issue" what did we ever do before OH&S BULLCRAP it is just poor excuse for people not using common sense, rant over

My bike was in and out of that shop for 18 months and still came out with High idle issues. The last time I was there it was in for a recheck of TPS settings and they claimed they were set to factory spec. After talking with Rocket Scientist and Warp just a couple of months ago I have been able to solve that issue. Tuneecu and myself resetting the TPS and stepper motor has now made my Rocket days more pleasant. That screw made me think that there was less than appropriate work done. I found that to be the case. I contested the charge of the last visit on my credit card because of my findings thru Tuneecu. That was 60 days ago. The dealership is fighting the contestment sayin the offered me a new screw. Ha screw has nothing to do with the problem. The condition of that screw does though. Sure gave me a clue as to quality of work and if I was the tech in this case I would be embarrassed to even give the bike back to its owner. They never fixed the bike. how can you charge someone for something you couldn't fix. I will never return there and Im not the only one in my area who thinks this dealer stinks. Al
