Hanso ... by all means sit around the oval at Hervey Bay high school for most of Saturday , your choice. But if it's all done and dusted and theres time to go for a ride thats what i'll be f#cking doing ok !!! .... I've put just as much effort into this weekend as Marty has. If some of the other blokes want to go for a ride " should the bike show be attended only in the morning" as i suspect it will and theres time for a ride before the auction ... who gives a f#ck !!!

Just home after a "fun run" - an oxymoron if ever there was one. Dedicated to Jim by the way.

Almost speechless (as unlikely as that would ever be) but certainly disappointed that a simple suggestion that some people might like to go for a bit a ride and see the sights around HB if there's a lull in proceedings seems to have attracted such criticism. Inciting a mutiny? Give me a break. We're all doing this thing because we wanted to get together. Marty and Cathy have gone out of their way to organise a lot of coincidental things and other people, not least TC, have also put in a lot of effort.

Noone owns this even as far as I'm aware - or if there was a vote, I missed it - but there's an enormous amount of goodwill all around. Let's not get carried away and assume that there's any intention of our not being 100% behind what Marty's organised just because there was a suggestion we might go for a bit of ride. And next time we'll get behind whoever is the "local" captain and takes the lead. Isn't that why he have bikes and isn't that what RDU is all about?

I've never been to Hervey Bay and it's a long ride to get there + Amanda's flying up to meet you guys, to be with me and to see the sights. This is an expensive exercise for us - and for Ponters, Malcy and Hanso. For everyone traveling there actually. If we're all standing around looking at each other then I can tell you we'll be wanting to take the opportunity to do something else. Simple as that. And if anyone's offended by that then I apologise in advance.

Just stating facts as I saw them, having been in the position of the one organizing an event and then to have those that are supposed to be there in support just bailing out when they felt they had enough. I felt that if I were Marty "The Warning" could have been a bit worrying but I believe he would have to polite to say what he probably felt. If read my post properly you might get what I was saying
That's all I am saying on the matter, Hate me If You like I have broad shoulder and don't really give a rats and you still welcome to my HHB the camper is also our home for the following week and a bit while we meander home slowly taking in some of our favorite sights in QLD

Oh and I don't have blood pressure problems just the skin get a bit thinner at times

No one hates anyone mate . We won't always all see everything eye to eye or agree on everything . Doesn't mean we aren't all still friends just means we have our own opinions and we are individuals . I'm looking forward to it and meeting everyone and there is no ill feeling or bad blood toward anyone I respect your opinions mate always have but I will always express mine passionately also . Cya all then and lets all remember to have fun
