That's usually a sign of too much tongue weight.
I don't mean to disagree with you. But I think that is reversed to much weight behind the trailer axles lifts the tongue and in turn the bumper hitch. The easiest way to figure out I'm right is to back a vehicle up on a car trailer. And drive where no body is so you don't look like a fool. I was young once so don't ask me how I know. :D

Oh so, there I sat on the side of the interstate 55 in Illinois correcting my stupidity.

You're right. I was thinking backwards. Worst part is that I just watched this video a couple of weeks ago.

Oh No. Here comes Harry !

My trailer is 6 x 12 single axle. I pull it with my 2004 Explorer 4.0L V6. With my bags and fairing the Rocket can only go by itself. I can move and change my front tire mounts and get 2 standard bikes in quit well. I feel the weight either way and my gas mileage drops from 18 mpg to about 10-12 mpg.

With 2 Rockets consider the total weight of trailer and load and the terrain you will be traveling. Consider your tow vehicle capacity and does the trailer need brakes and tandem axles.

And sometimes develop a high speed weave that feeds back on itself, too.

Not if you have set the tongue weight correctly.
Just sayin' . . .
Mine has been all over the country on long runs - never an issue.
Two Rockets would be OK on a good single axle, but two would be better although a lot heavier.

So you're saying that you're ok with that picture hanging right between your eyes? o_O

NO, I'm just saying I got nothing male related out of it.
At least now I understand your approach. :D
