2010 Rocket III Touring
I'm starting to tour for longer distances these days, and my wife is finally on board to travel via motorcycle. However, she has a strong tendency to bring a lot of crap with her, which is filling my tourpacks and saddlebags to the gills. I've started looking into towing with the R3T. What trailers/rigs do those of you who tow suggest? Also, just got a new black labrador a couple of months back... It'd be awesome to find a rig that I can convert to give her a way to get her face in the wind. With doggles, of course.

I have a Cargomate, with a Bushtec hitch.

Can you still ride with these trailers? Or are you more like "driving"? Got a wonderful dog we want to take on trips but don't want to kill the fun of the ride either! Thinking a sidecar is like a Trike...driving. Trailer? no idea.

You would never know the trailer was there, unless you turned around and looked. 85 mph, no problem.

I have a Bunkhouse Camper trailer done about 25000 miles towing, use a classic industries tow hitch. I find I use the back brake a little more when I tow and the front tyre wears faster. I still ride like I am on a bike, pass, like a bike and best of all I am on a bike.

This probably won't work with the dog, but the fun of the ride would stay intact...
