I rode the Springer today to remind myself why I like all the different bikes that are available to everyone. As I was riding a thought occurred to me as I tried to stop for a jerk that pulled out in front of me; "my loud pipes aren't working and neither are my brakes". Its always good to go back to the inferior so we can appreciate the superior.

YEP IT would always amaze me that my Harleys never had any brakes and they are keeping that tradition alive today and that amazes me even more WTF

While were on the subject. Wife number three did run off with a guy on a Harley. I was on my 8TH med cruise in six years. No big deal just thought I would mention that.

Women dig Harley guys because they know a fool is easily parted from his money...

Valkyries are a nice bike would have bought one but you can not rig them with heel-toe shifters a necessity for me my left foot is fused together.

Actually they do make a heel-toe shifter for them but they are hard to find these days.

Valk riders are about the most dedicated to their make/model of any I have known. I want to ride one and perhaps add a nice example to my family.

You should be able to find one between $4g and $7g in your area. I know one guy with over 500,000 miles on his but there are many "low" mileage Valks(less than 100,000 miles) out there.

I have an interracial family of bikes and love all four rides,the one that runs on hay and oats is my favorite even though i do have some issues with those hybrid racing steeds.....

I have an R3 Touring and a Storm. Rented an Indian Roadmaster a couple of weeks ago in the Big Easy. Didn't like it at first but, over a week, grew kind of fond of "the rolling couch." That said, its not the bike that the Rocket and Storm are.
