TOR'S tune??

This link is an introduction to TunECU

By the way, Wayne Tripp is in Birmingham, AL. He's the man for tuning.

Nolton.... go with the TuneECU route. I have used it (connected it to the bike myself and everything) a time or two until I finally got the best tune and have left it alone. I have the K&N filter mod, removed secondaries, cut bear claw, TORS exhaust, Stain tune crossover, and TuneECU custom tune that I got from Evil Mitch. I am leaving it alone right now. I have the darkside tire on there and from a slow roll I can burn the tire, come out of first burn into second burn with a slight chirp. Left a 30 ft black mark in front of friends business.. lol A little more practice I bet I can do better than that. That darkside is a wide patch of tire to be turning over so compared to the stock bike I bought it is a freakin animal now!

Have fun bud!!

What filters?
Triple K&N filters under the bear claw. You dont have to cut the bear claw as some do. Just have to work them around until they fit. I have a K&N under the seat and will try that route first.
Thanks again for the PM.

Hey Mully, this spring my Rocket will be set up the same as yours except I use the Triumph cat eliminator instead of the staintune. I've been looking for a good tune to run. Would you mind sharing yours? Please :):):)

I dont plan to remove the secondaries. Just cat bypass and pipes at first.
Burnouts??? I cant stand the smell. :D
Some ride the R3 like a quarter horse I ride like its a thoroughbred.
Hope to see you in MV.
When I am ready to do the tune I will call you. Thanks.

Thanks mate!! I will take the international charges for the second hour:D

There is a Tuneboy tune for TORs/cat bypass/triple Unifilters formatted for TuneECUon the TuneECU web site.

All of these custom tunes have the secondaries 100% open all the time so you don't have to remove them.

In fact, at idle, the secondaries are partially closed. They open 100% when you click into gear. If you remove the secondaries, it will affect the idle.

You might remember I bought another bear claw and kept my stock one. I cut the one I bought to expose the kn filters a little more. We tallked about being able to turn the bike back to 100% stock if need be later on down the road.

I tried to upload the tune this morning via zip file to this thread for you but its still to big. Try to talk to Evil Mitch... he sent it to me with no problems.
