Correct. TORs will be you best priced option for what you want. Some people have drilled holes through the end of the stock pipes too, if you don't want to spend anything, but it's not something I'd do. There's a thread somewhere or other. You will need a ***n big drill bit though.

I personally would buy TORS rather than drilling or de-baffling/cat removal. Once it is done you can't go back...

Just had mine dyno-ed with TOR's and Ramair, reckon the TOR's gained about 10ish HP(already installed before dyno), Ramair 20HP+ gain

Awesome! I just received my TORs but due to a bum ankle, no riding or tinkering for probably a couple of weeks. Mike188's post got me thinking about adding the Ramair mod. Seems a reasonable price point. Question, I have ordered the TuneECU cable, I found the TORs only tune, is there another tune required for adding the Ramair filter? Thanks

Nev told me when he checked it, (before adding the Ramair) that the bike was still running lean on the TOR's tune that the dealer downloaded when they were fitted. Fitting the Ramair will only make it leaner, so speak to some of the guys on here with that set up and see if they can hook you up with a tune..........I don't have TuneECU or PCV, so Nev did all my tuning after he fitted the Ramair

If you don't want to or can't play with the bike's tune, you could always try a Dobeck. Simply adds fuel and easy to tinker with.
This is the one I have and I especially like the simplicity, but there are much more sophisticated models you can get.

I still have the original TORS tune that was loaded when those pipes were fitted 4 years ago but have been able to accommodate other changes to exhaust and intake since then with the Dobeck. Not for everyone but sure suites me.

I retrieved my bike from the dealer last night with new GPS and TORs. The new tune they put on makes a BIG difference over stock (told it is standard TORs tune). Off line performance is noticeably stronger, the power hits harder while rolling on at speed and it seems to be smoother as well. One drawback, (maybe it a negative, not sure yet) is that the engine braking is less than before with this tune. No worries, I’ll just compensate with more brake in the twisties. Bottom line, I am well pleased. My normal ride to work is 35 minutes, took me 23 today…
