Took a Gamble, hope its nothing serious

So I have just gone and bought another Rocket 3 today. It’s a 2009 with 30k km’s. Needs some tidying but for $4500CAD it was a bargain ( About $3500 US ).
Now the gamble bit. When just ticking over and at a standstill the bike is difficult to change gear and difficult to find Neutral, however as soon as you start to move it goes through the gears fine and can easily find neutral like expected. Like i say i took a gamble buying the bike hoping it wasn’t too serious a problem.
anyone with any ideas or know what it is i would be great full

Hi Wafty, my R3T 2011 is a pig to get into neutral and all adjusted clutch etc. I suspect it’s a ‘thing’ with these bikes. Spent what seemed like 15 minutes trying to get neutral at the petrol station the other day. Nearly rode off and tried again somewhere else!! Great job on the purchase btw. Cheers Tim (UK). You guessed that when I said petrol didn’t you.

Use the best quality FULL synthetic oil always - I use Motol 300v for my modified bikes
