Well the time has come to let someone else take over and breathe some new life into "Blackie". I have loved this bike and rode her to many locations with some of you and many of you have not seen her since it has been so long since I have been active. I have modified this bike so much that I could never even remember all of the changes to her but I will list some:
1993 Harley FXRT fairing with many hours of mods.
Suzuki M109 front fender.
MC motorcycle cruise.
Zumo 550.
CB radio with intercom.
Front Chin spoiler.
Classic floorboards but with the standard small brake pedal modded to fit.
Hiway bars with Hiway pegs.
T handle bars modded to fit.
Custom rear rack.
Custom radiator grill.
Aftermarket front discs.
Progressive 440 rear shocks.
Aprilia mirrors.
Much powder coating.
I'm sure there are many others I have forgotten.

She does have some issues:
The gauges work but only sweep after start up, both trips reset every time power is turned on.
The Cruise works intermittently and needs to be troubleshot.
The tail light has some led's not working.
Front brakes work but are soft at first applilcation.
These are the primary things I remember, but she has set for a while.
She does start and run well, I start and ride every month at least for short rides.

Just time to let someone else take her and continue on.
About 36,000 miles Located in Dardanelle Arkansas.
PM me to talk.
Asking $4500
Thanks, Lonnie

I joined this forum around 12 years ago and was blown away when I first saw this bike and it’s sister (brother?) Blackie 2. I don’t think of lot of the newer members could quite appreciate just how out there this bike was at that time. It’s still unique and has been responsible for a lot of styling and customising inspiration over the years. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Good luck with the sale @Lonzol and congratulations (in anticipation) to the lucky new owner.
