Time for a Texas Roll Call
I'm in. Would be a good shake down for my Alaska ride without getting that far from home

Let us know when. I'm in a time and $$ crunch in the early part of this year, but would love to meet you at some point in East Texas & roll with ya'll for a while

Biggest cost would be fuel. Not like you are gonna spend lazy days on the beach at SPI drinking piña coladas. Start there and finish there...the rest of the time you would be working on developing your butt calluses.
 
Around Texas in 70 hrs or less? Hummm? Has anyone done this? How many miles, cruise/racing? Morris I'm sure you have calculated the road plan as far as miles per/day stops. Certainly will be a good screen to see if I can make X-County.

No calluses here Amigo - I ride on the "2 part" of a 2"X4" most of the time
Let us know when. Maybe Howard & Pam can do part of the route with me also

3100 miles in 58 hours (assuming 12 hours rest somewhere) is about a 53.5 mph average speed including fuel stops...seems pretty doable
 
OK, I just did 13 hrs straight delivering a truck from Fla. Very doable. The bikes need 10-15 min gas stops every 130 to 150 miles. Maps dates, a pre ride meeting for those of us gremies on this kind'a thing. This ride would be 13 weeks away. 58 hrs /4 rounds = 14.5 hrs ridding 60 mph rounds with 3, 4 hour feed and rest stops. Gota ride harder than that.

Is this team competition? Is there any competition? Gota compete maaan, gota compete.
