Thunderbike Tbars

Thanks mate , ended up ordering the Rivco risers as i didnt want to go all out on mods , hopefully they will give me enough to sit back in the seat a bit more. Also ordered the brakeaway cruise control , strange thing is said order didnt go through but the money has left my account now i have to chase that up, they didnt answer the email i sent yet.
I have the Rivco Riser as Well sits me back just great

Mate did you have to change cable or did they fit up ok using the instructions with the standard cable ?

Im hoping they will give me enough to take the stoop out of my riding posture , starting to get a cranky shoulder joint ( old footy wound )

The Std cables does fit but was to tight for my liking So I got the Classic cables for both Clutch and Throttle, you don't want to have them binding, some guys have rerouted them but I still felt it left them susceptible to Pinching or Kinking
I also fitted a Corbin seat with back rest since my bike is as comfy as a armchair now, if you have std seats (two piece) you can also opt for a Utopia Back rest I loved it and since sold it to 1olbull, he loves it to

Looking at getting a set of these ,

http://www.thunderbike.co.nz/shopn/spi/449721595/tbike_2__RO3

They have no links on their page for correspondence or Ph# , hoping someone else may of fitted them and let me know if they fit up as easily as suggested.

They say

"Fits current mounting, no alterations needed
No extended cables needed
Fat 1 1/4" tube with standard size mounting.
190mm rise and 160mm pullback.
Width of bars (not including end weights) approx 820mm
Supplied with clock relocation bracket in case it is required and fitting instructions."

My questions are
*will i need to have the brake line modded ?
*will all my original hardware fit
*and if the bars are fatter does it mean i cant put one of these on ? http://www.brakeawayproducts.com/store/index.php?route=common/home

They also say
"Note: We have not fitted these to a Roadster ourselves as yet and can't guarantee the fit on this model. Feedback we have had on Roadster fitment is that a new instrument relocation bracket will need to be fabricated."

Anyone know if these are sold anywhere ?

contact info for them, link was on the page http://www.thunderbike.co.nz/contact-thunderbike.htm

Amen on that Utopia back rest I got from HansO - it's a back saver!
BTW, HansO, exactly how much longer are the Classic cables than the Roadster's - if you have an idea?

sorry I cant't remember but it was a enough to put the cables in the right place on bike with no stress in either lock

May find you still need to grab a Classic clutch cable mate ..oh and if you decide in the future you want a set of Thunderbike T-bars I've got a set in the shed. I sell everything at 50% of new price .. just thought I'd mention it
Ah T.C.s Motorcycle Emporium thought he had a liquidation sale. Must have just been a relocation sale. Good news he's still in business.

The Thunderbike T-bars I've got are the fat ones .. been extended an extra 40mm in height (at the top so they pull back a little further) they are powder coated gloss black .. first come best dressed ;)
