" THIS IS BILLY FROM ARTILLERY...I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU PLAY JUST PLAY IT LOUD"

I never noticed any noise diff between either the K&Ns or RamAir, but then I run CES.
The K&N chirped/squeaked more. But both drowned out by the THUGS. But that ITG that Colin had made up and gets fitted for mad moments, drowns out the THUGS - HELMET WIND RUSH - Police sirens and more importantly - Pillion instructions.

NO pillion for me, Amigo!!!
Solves SO MANY problems!

In the words of the now late great Robin Williams " THIS IS BILLY FROM ARTILLERY...I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU PLAY JUST PLAY IT LOUD"

Just fitted a shiny new Ramair kit ...what most people have failed to mention here is the induction ROAR is LOUD and I mean LOUD .
In fact 20 minutes into a test ride I stopped and checked it hadn't come off ...it hadn't
At full throttle its seriously very loud ..car drivers jump out the way when you crack the throttle to overtake ...glancing in the mirror thinking what the f$%k !
I'm not complaining I ride hard and enthusiastically and I love it
But I'm just saying if you like the scenery more than Hinckley's big bore triple sound track think twice before fitting one
one unforeseen advantage is the old air box gives you a decent amount of storage space

so now thinking of looking into this tuneECU thing as I get a lot of backfiring through the induction
when throttling off/going down the box

You'll really enjoy that Ramair if you let it properly pass gas by un-assing the factory triple cans. You need to at least fit a set of TORs to be able to appreciate the intake with a proper tune ;)

Ah but I gain points for pretending.
i.e. We're going to see friends on the coast over Easter.
So I ask - Wanna go on the bike?
- to which 'er indoor says: Whatever you want
- I say: OK but remember it's 4 hours each way.
- to which is responded : CAR THEN.

And the Gel pillion seat is really good for transporting delicate goods.

Agreed if only I could find a set of TOR cans I would snap them up otherwise its after market stuff non of which I really like I prefer the 3 exhausts and not a 3 into 1 and they cost mega bucks to buy

I'm a family and I don't think the wife will be to pleased if I drop £1000 on a exhaust

keep your eyes open for a set of StainTune they have the std look but offer more performance than Tors and sound better too
