Ever since about 1998 I had awaited my opportunity to replicate a favorite movie scene of mine.
My cousin, Sam (R3 Roadster X), who was to accompany me, my bro Dan, and buddy Ron on this June's cross the USA motor ride sadly passed.
Most of our family rode motors, some caged up to Sunrise Mt. Ranier to disperse Sam's ashes per his request.
I'm the geezer with the Santa beard, the tall strapping young man in black T is Sam's son, Michael, who rode his Dad's Rocket X.

My ash hole, after I spring the mortal coil, is the Ubehebee Crater in Death Valley.
Other than the end of a mile long deep volcanic cave near Sun River, OR, tis the 2nd most dark place I have been. Two of us rode up to it many years (like 35) ago. Turned off our lights and could not see our hands even after 30 minutes. The night stars shown brightly all the way down to the horizon!
Was so dark we never saw the crater and chose to remain on the motors and returned the next day.
Very KEWL place!
If haven't ridden Death Valley, Scotty's Castle, and Furnace Creek area - put it on your bucket list.
