Thinking of installing night vision camera/display

deer whistle, cow whistle, (or maybe even roo whistle),
deer seem to be attracted to the whistles around here.
Hense 3 loud a** pipes, it's as much for self preservation as anything else.

I would put this in the same category as an idea someone had on my Honda SOHC forum, a lean angle indicator. How are you going to watch something like that, take your eyes off the road?

I saw somewhere that someone fitted a thermometer to their bike. Up there with the ash tray as a pretty pointless accessory I reckon.

If you can't tell what the temperature is when you're riding you have way too much crap on your bike. Actually, on reflection, a thermometer might be useful on some of the Goldwings/Victories/Beemers getting about these days.

Thermometer is standard on the Ultraglide. Makes up for some other failings.....

Had a friend riding the Blue Ridge Parkway a couple of weeks ago he was in the middle of the pack of 22 Harleys. A Bear came off of the Hillside hitting him in the front wheel needless to say he wrecked broke collarbone and a couple of ribs And a bunch of road rash I figure all the noise from the bikes scared the bear making him want to go home which was across the road
