Im 6'4" and mostly leg so the forward controls feel almost mid to me. I thought about moving them back a notch and that might help with the wind thing but, its probably just that Im out of shape. Going to try out the transition to the passenger pegs next ride. Trying it out in my garage seemed to show it feasible.

I doubt you will ride long on the passenger pegs. You are going to be folded up like a pretzel and have all your weight on your testicles.😅 I do it for a few miles but it is not a viable riding position for any length of time.

No, I get it. It's really at the most severe times of having to give a rest. I would really rather have some wider pegs as a real solution but I don't really see any solutions out there for that.

When I first bought the TFC I looked into getting a crash bar installed to put pegs on and provide tip over protection. Nothing like that has proven possible at this time. I have forgotten about it now since I really think the bars and pegs out front would goober up the looks. I'm to cool to be comfortable.🤣🤣🤣🤣

I get it that wider/longer pegs affects the lean angle but I would gladly sacrifice that for wider/longer pegs. If you lean into a turn and happen to scrape the pegs you better be exactly square on the little pegs and have zero boot sticking out. I'm surprised my ankles haven't snapped off by now. It friggin hurts and certainly wakes you up. The pegs on my 2014 Rocket were perfect but Triumph wanted a better lean angle so they shortened the length and width of the pegs (but charged you more):thumbsup:
What a whiny little girl.:laugh::laugh:

I rarely scrape the pegs but I have worn down the outside soles of a boot or two. I do think calling this new Rocket a GT is a bit of stretch. It is more sport than tour.

If I paid as much as you pay for your Cowboy boots I would sh** myself if I even got a scratch on them. My boots are $70.00 yours are $70,000. Three things hurt during a boot scrape. my foot, my pride and my vagina.:eek:

...cause we all know it's really a Speed Triple upgrade with an R3 name...

I have not really ruined any boots yet just a gentle sole rub and pull your foot up. These high end boots can be resolved if real damage occurs. My footwear is for using as I wish. I got more upset when I spilled diesel fuel on my lamb vamped Rios of Mercedes.😭
