Well it was rude and after I cried I thought I would reply
. You are exactly right on the lean angle. I purposely try to scrape the 'lean angle indicators' or nipples in turns and practicing tight U-turns and figure 8's every once in a while. It's a confidence thing that while in a tight turn the Rocket will lean over a lot further than you think it will so if I ever screw up and go into a turn too hot I have the confidence to lean further. In short I do it for practice although as I age I find I'm losing some of my skills and nerve it appears. It is in fact getting more difficult to ride like I use to. The pic is the right side of the Rocket. My 2014 Rocket was much easier to lean and grinding the pegs was more fun on it. Most all of the 'grinding' is a at slow speeds to practice control very little if any long grinding high speed turns.
