Hi Ian ! Did your former rocket ever have the can chain replaced ?

It had the update kit installed at around 35,000 miles and has been running happy since then, apart from a detent spring.

I was thinking of replacing. mine next valve adjustment but yours has twice the miles. Maybe I'll save my money

Welcome another western Washington Rocketeer. So how did you fair in your tangle with the cliffs in Arkansas? Too bad about the well farkled Rocket but good to see you got back on. I'm not sure I would.

I love riding the Texas Hill Country, having done so when our daughter was stationed in San Antonio. I used to do an occasional ride with the Texas Hill Country Road Riders, a nice bunch of mostly senior citizens like me.
