Sounds like Oct 20-23 is going to work for most. Arrive 20th - "3 Sisters" 21st - "Little Africa" 22nd
Lets go ahead & set that in stone. There is already a growing group interest in staying here: Frio Pecan Farm - Frio River Lodging, Pecans

There are some options to choose a house w/4 bedrooms, kitchen, pool, bbq pit, ect at this lodge, so that could be split amongst a group. Also smaller 2 bed rooms available - rooms are available for our dates
I have pm'd others - feel free to pm those that have posted to see if anyone is interested in room splitting

IN- want to go badly but coming back from Vegas (Supercross Race) on Wednesday. I love that area and never got to ride the sisters, only been in a car due to the weather turning out badly last time we went down. Hell, I have enough vacation if it's not claimed will just take the week and come down, if not would be a late Friday evening arrival. Lots of cool photo op spots.

May want to consider Kerrville. Kind of plain generic but looks like a lot options. I think would end up there on Friday.

HWY 16 From Kerrville thru Medina and Bandera. Sharp RH turn down hill to a near U turn back to L immediately followed by a RH straight up and another R at the top of the hill. Now that you mention it I've stayed in Kerrville every time I've been to the Hill Country.

I had developed a route for Three Sisters when I was going to do it last year.
The route starts and ends at Fredricksburg, TX.
To Medina on 16 - to Hunt via 337 & 39 - to Leakey via 1340 & 83 - to Camp Wood vis 336, 41 & 335 - back to Fredricksburg via 337 thru Medina, 16 to Bandera then 173 to Kerrville.
