Would be coming from Houston with my brother on his Harley. Is there anyone else from Houston contemplating this trip? Proposed dates are OK with me.

I'll be coming from Houston. I was planning to leave on Wednesday but would be cool to ride with a group or two do lm flexible.

My crew will leave Brookshire a little after noon on Thursday if you guys want to join

Yeah we get winter down here too...for a week or so in January . October is about when riding weather in Texas starts back up. Right now most folks only ride early morning and late evening or at night. 103F on my ride home from work yesterday. The faster you go the hotter it gets...can make it pretty miserable on a bike

Once the temp climbs above body temp (98.6) you become a wick for losing fluids.
The "wind chill" reverses and becomes wind HEAT as Morris has said.
I have found wearing a wet scarf around the neck helps immensely dealing with the heat
while remaining AGAT.

Working on logistics for this "Ride the Texas Sisters" event with my brother, Dan . . .
Gonna try hard to make it!
