If so then you'll find a rattle gun is required. Mine us pneumatic and works up to 500nm - first time I thought the rattle gun was going to self-destruct but the rotor eventually gave up. I use 2 sockets that fit in the rotor holes (the holes have different size bores) and fit a breaker bar and my longest ratchet cable-tied together to hold the rotor still

I havent had a problem in my several times doing it but i gotta hammer , thanks fir that pro tip

Put never-seize on thread of puller use an air impact gun and when you have a strain on armature hit puller with engineer hammer. Made a tool with two pins to keep crank from turning.

Care to share on them tools to hold crank? I know a @Son_Of_Dog (tool maker) that may can make me a set of those for a few bucks. Sound handy
 
That's the trick, put pressure on it by tightening the puller bolt up real good, and then hit the puller a good rap of a hammer, the shock will cause the rotor to pop off then in a shot.
One it pops you tighten the puller again and it'll pull the rotor off the rest of the way smoothly.

Made it like Triumph tool shown in tool listing by Hermey's, sorry don't know how to send or capture picture. Cut 3/4 circle with plasma arc, drilled two hole and drove bolts with thread cut off, these are not same size dia. , welded into plate from opposite side. Slotted a piece of pipe for handle, drove over plate and welded.

That stator doesn't look bad, in fact I'm surprised it is only slightly discoloured. Looks like the insulation hasn't started to flake off. Probably good for another ........ miles.
