I would like to run a R1 Tractor Tire. Any advise? That way there will NEVER be any roads we can't take. And we thought gravel was bad.

Why do you always want to ride on gravel? Dirt squirts are for dirt, Rockets are for roads.

I'm running the Envigor too.
I get a weave around 100. Not enough to scare the skid marks out of you, but enough to make me throttle down.

99.9% of the fun is below the ton anyway. But, on the occasion I want to show a fellow rider what she's got; I would prefer to take her a little higher.
So, next spring I'm going to try a different CT. If I can't find something I'm happy with it's en-tire-ly possible I might go back to a MT.
Heck, maybe I need to check out a wider rear rim. Somethings gotta give me a season of riding on good grip!

It may be a while before I get the Raptor mounted, but I will remember to post my results.
Before then, I'm gonna risk life and limb and try some +100 runs on the highway with the Envigor.
A side note, I also run a Pilot Road 3 rear tire up front, will switch to the new Road 4 when I mount the Raptor
I run 38 lbs front, 28 rear.

Norm, I just realized you are a Touring man, so my results are probably moot for you,
but I'll report anyhow.

Sure thing.
Although, I kinda think it's the low pressure & soft sidewall. So, I hope to find a DS that's stable, but not hopeful.

You probably should look into a run flat tire they have different sidewalls.

I heard about the run flats when I started looking but most of them that I looked at weren't bi-directional and I heard a lot of good things about the Envigor for the R3T. So, I decided to try it.
It's a good tire for the most part. But, if I want to push on past most cruisers top end; I'm out of luck.
