I was making a video for my Legion Riders Group and as I was putting it together I kept hearing how the mic in my helmet was picking up the sound of the bike. I made a short video to share it with you all. Now my bike has a RAMAir, Viking crossover, and TORS, but man it sounds awesome to me.

PS you need to listen through real speakers not those little ones on a notebook.
Put on a good pair of headphones at least.

I normally get bored right away with ride videos but I loved it. Those back county roads look most excellent and the Rocket sounds great. I've been reluctant to install the my Ram Air, the one sitting in a box in my shop next to my Touring, but you've convinced me that it is the thing to do. It's a very fine sound.

And yes, my Paul Bryant crossover is sitting next to the Ram Air box. My son was going to help me install it during his all too short visit but we unfortunately ran out of time and I'm unable do do it by myself without significant pain and discomfort from my failed knees.

A couple of questions that I know you've probably answered previously, but where did you get the windscreen spoiler? I believe you once said it was a clamp on rather than a permanently drilled and fixed and that is boss.

Also, what kind of handlebars do you have? They don't look like the stock Touring bars on my 2009 that pull back significantly. One of our members pointed out that at about 2015 they changed so are those the stockers. That's exactly what I want. I'm working with some local forum friends to see if the Roadster bars with my new Rivco risers will do it for me.

Again, fine video and a keeper.

Oh and one more. Was that a Kawasaki Nomad in front of you? The passenger rack looks familiar. I kept expecting you to blast around it.

Great video had it running through the car stereo loud enough for the seat to be vibrating. I don't even notice that when I'm on my Rocket.

I also keen to find out what the deflector on the screen is as my screen is about 3 inches to short to put the air over the helmet.

@phar2slo I can help with that, I have an R3T screen (for when I get one of those too) with an extension off a mates bike that he sold, home made but works well, factory screen seems to buffet helmet badly, that or order a Clearview

The bike in front of me is my friend Kevin on a 2016 T'Bird LT.

My bike is a 2015 Touring so yes they are the stock bars. The spoiler is an xcreen and I love it. You can drill it or get the clamps. I got the clamps. Hated to spend the money for it, but worth every penny.

It is more a spoiler than a deflector. Not only can you move the air, but it really cleans it up. MRA X-Creen Tour Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade - RevZilla

Sounds good!
You may have started something now of course!!...Expect more videos im thinking...

I have gotten to the point that I only use short clips of ride video with music, but as I was putting together my other video I kept hearing how well the mic was picking up the sounds. I use a sena prism tube which is a pretty entry level setup.

My friend Kevin was with us and he it riding a T Bird LT. Everyone else is riding a Harley.

Bill, is this the deflector you have? The contour on it seems to have more curve than does the Triumph screen.

Sleeves, I have the stock Touring Screen, like Billy's, along with the tall, or winter screen, in which I have to look through. I'm trying to pare it down to just one screen and this deflector might do it. I installed a 25 inch Clearview on my 07 Classic Tourer and it is a great windscreen.

The clamp on is about 30 bucks more at $162.90 while the +3inch Clearview/+2inch wide, with upper recurve, gray tint and no vent is about $200. What to do, what to do.

@Navigator yes that is the one I have. I am 5'8" tall and can see over the X-creen on the stock screen. I really like it. I still get plenty of air flow it just cleans it up.
