Tach LED not working

gopro cheap and it tells you all of the gears.
GoPro? or GiPro?

The GiPro would be an option - if the GPS is shot that will quickly let you know.
Get the simple one that plugs into the diagnostic plug - the big digit one with ATRE is a waste of time if you have TuneECU etc.

After a bunch of time going over the electrical schematic I have a better grip on how the electrical system is set up. I picked up a 12 volt LED with a built in resister. I hooked it up to the B/W connection and ground. It lit up and works as it should meaning the gear position switch is good and the wiring is good down to the switch. So short of cutting the tach in half with a hack saw i am ordering a new tach and the GI pro as well . I hate when my bikes are not perfect . Thanks for the tips.

don't throw your old tach away i would pay shipping if you don't want to keep it.

Why not send your tacho to a instrument repair shop. We have them here in OZ so I would suspect you would have these shops in the USA too.
