T3880059 Cable Interface to PC

It is quite simply Triumph's own diagnostic tool, but not a map editor.

TuneECU is a non OEM and both a diagnostic tool and a map editor, TuneBoy is another non OEM diagnostic tool and its sibling TuneEdit is a map editor.
Dealertool is another non OEM diagnostic tool but has no map editor.

The only real difference I found that Triumph has that the non OEMs don't, is the ability to unlock new bikes' ECUs and new spares ECUs. But you also need the passwords per model for this.

P.S. that T3880059 look like just a cable, no OBD plug, plus the Triumph software is required too. And that costs like a €1000 and is meant for dealers only really

works, I am using it with my 21.
Hi,

Hope you are doing good. Pls share which software are you using with this Cable (T3880059) ?

Can you please share some information about the software like where to get it and how much it will cost. If convenient, please share some screenshots of the software also.

I have the dealertool adapter cable (Ver 3.1) and software but I want to use the OEM Cable (T3880059) with it's software for my 2020 3R.

Is Triumph OEM software available? I’ve never heard of anyone using it.

What do you want to do with Triumph diagnostic software that you can’t do with TuneECU or Dealertool?

Don't know yet. That's why seeking guidance.

I suppose the OEM software would give more insights than 3rd party softwares.

If the software exists, I wouldn’t bother unless the dealer or anyone who has used it can explain what it does. The Triumph dealer’s diagnostic tool connects to Triumph and automatically updates your bike. I doubt Triumph would sell you anything comparable. Note that with Penner’s free map you can get 175 rwhp out of your R3. Plus everything else you can do with TuneECU.

Waiting for @pica response.

those cables are there to fix and diagnose rocket issues. You can any OBD2 cable to fix the issue but you need software as well, there are 4 softwares in market right now
1 Tuneecu
2 Dealertool from UK
3 Tuneboy
4 OEM triupmph TriTun software

All software have their own limitations. For example Dealertool can reset your 'service light' which only Triumph Tritun can do, while Dealertool can not flash any engine map but Tuneecu can so its about what you want to do with bike.
