One of my favorite shirts.

If I were holding the camera, then I would have preferred your finger to be off the trigger.

I know, I know...booger finger off the trigger. It was on a tripod. And I fully understand what your saying!

You're not completely correct cardinal93. In cold and cool weather, I'm definitely sporting protective gear. When the Texas heat builds up, I have to shed some gear. I always wear a helmet, I always wear gloves, I always wear "real" motorcycle boots and I usually wear knee pads or motorcycle jeans with the knee pads inside. Can you recommend a truly light weight jacket that won't make me think I'm in a sauna?

I use a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 in silver.

I have a River Road mesh jacket that moves a LOT of air, but it's black and the TX sun will cook you; air or not.

A lot of jackets will have black shoulders. That's fine if you ride in the shade; but I'd suggest no dark colors at all for TX.

There's nothing that going to make riding in 100+ temps feel cool. At a stop anything is going to get warm.
But if you're moving at 20mph or so, the Phoenix feels like a lightweight, long sleeve cotton shirt.

Weather permitting, I ride sporting a "message" t shirt most of the time. I try not to wear t's with a message that might offend crazies because I don't relish being run off the road. I'd be interested in viewing other t shirts sported by our members. Here's my latest:

The photo is not of me (I'm much more handsome than that guy); it's from the ad I purchased the t from.

You seem to be quite the social butterfly. Sounds like my kind of friend, I mean, acquaintance.

Keep 'em coming boys. Any gals out there that would be interested in contributing to this thread?
