Swing arm bearing and Shock linkage Lube

Yes, both sides and there was metal to metal at the front spline in places.
Just take off the shield, 2 fixings, remove the engine cover below, 7 ? 8mm fixings, squeeze the plastic cover to remove it and bingo, lube away.
For reassembly I found it's much easier to assemble the rear to the bevel box first then engage the front spline.

can you clarify the tool number you mentioned, you are saying "T3880101 frame adjustment wrench." while the everywhere else its named as "Triumph Cylinder Liner Extractor 74mm T3880101"

Great info- I didn't even look into it based on what a PIA it is on the 2.3s. For once, something easier to do on the 2.5s. Thanks

Need advice on removing swing arm from this point, disassembly, bearing lube, reassembly and shock pivots lube please
alright, who can help me here, I am confused what is OP trying to remove

what is OP trying to adjust with this tool, where will the tool go? this website says its for use with street triple only

is he trying to remove stuff below and grease it? or its something else?

Which section of the factory manual should I refer to for what OP is trying to accomplish?

What does OP stand for.
Anyway just looking at self serving swing arm and shock linkage lubrication.
The R3 manual I have access to says you will need the tool mentioned above to reinstall the swing arm.
You are correct, correct pn is T3880183 per manual.
Mistake was caused by Triumph World listing on its site, lucky I never ordered it , thanks.
The tool seems the only real hindrance to doing swing arm and rear suspension linkage lubrication ?
Where did you get your manual btw ?
My download links don't work in mine, (from journeymans version).

Hey Journeyman.
I downloaded the manual from your link but the links in it don't work.
Any input ?

Mike- yeah, no way for me to fix that, unfortunately. I took a version someone else posted and ran it through an OCR program so that you could word search. If anyone has an original copy they could share the links would work too.
