swapping parts from my 2005 rocket to 2016

Dual headlight bikes, both?, i believe seat will work.
I decided to make my 2005 Rocket into a Trike. So, keeping the accessories parts on it. Looking for recommendation for a do-it-yourself Trike kit. Tried to get brackets to mount a new Clearview shield (made in Colorado) from Triumph and they stop making the 2-piece U brackets, only making the side mounts. Anybody know of a decent aftermarket tall shield that will work? Or where I can get some used stock brackets.

I bought a 2016 rocket to get ABS brakes, want to take my Corbin seat off my 2005 rocket. will it fit
It should I have an 05 and an 011 and switch seats back and forth all the time. They are not switchable to the touring as the fasten differently.

not sure about the trike stuff but info is here on site, clearview will make you what you want @Sparky59 has a custom windshield they made, didnt want too but they did. Brackets i think @Ishrub has some.

Just sold a month or two ago my personal use custom Clearview with the Triumph 3 bolt chrome strap TT from the 'Summer' smaller screen but it easily carried the larger Custom Clearview screen. Usually the bigger Triumph screens came with the 5 bolt chrome TT strap mounts.

Ye, I still have a spare large 5 bolt chrome TT strap and side brackets kit with the 4 fork clamps and a couple of Triumph large 5 bolt screens.
Std Air Postage to USA is about US$100 with a screen fitted from Australia and I have sold and sent quite a few around the world before. It is a lot of work to dissassemble and put back together as there are about 16 little metal spacer tubes that fill in the space between mounting bolts, TT straps and holes in the screen. These are also positioned under the rubber strips that fit between screen and chrome TT straps. It doesn't look like it but there is definitely a right and left TT strap and get them wrong and it will all seem like it should fit but wont. Lessons well learnt and I avoid pulling them apart now as it takes hours to reassemble.

If your making a trike and want rear passenger footboards you can actually use the Triumph ones from the single headlight Rocket III Touring (R3T) models.
On dual headlight Std/ Classic and Roadster Rocket IIIs there is a 2nd mounting hole each side of frame under the chrome covers fwd of the single rear peg mount hole.
This is the exact same spacing as used for the R3T rear pillion f/boards. You will need to either leave the chrome covers off after fitting or simply drill a 2nd hole in each cover and shim/spacers to fill the space between frame and chrome cover so it does not deform when the footboard mounts are tightened.

The other advantage is it places the footboard more fwd than singkle peg so an extension bar is not needed like with aftermarket solutions from RIVCO to bring the pillion foot position fwd.

The R3T REAR footboards are fairly common used from Pinwall wreckers online or eBay as they rarely get damaged in wrecks and VERY IMPORTANTLY are symmetrical and FIT EITHER side of motorcycle so you do not need to buy in L and R pairs but can pick up separately either side to make a pair. I think somebody was selling some on the forum classifieds recently too.
